
EDUCATION FIRST: HON. AKINOLA ABIODUN IDOWU TAKES LEARNING SUPPORT TO LADOJE, OKE-KOTO AND OTHER ORILE-AGEGE SCHOOLS IN CONTINUED DRIVE FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

In furtherance of his bold vision for inclusive grassroots development, the Executive Chairman of Orile-Agege Local Council Development Area, Hon. Akinola Abiodun Idowu (Dodo), on Thursday, December 2025, led another impactful phase of exercise book and school material distribution across more primary schools in the council area.
This latest outreach, a major component of the activities commemorating his first 100 days in office, saw the Chairman and his team visit schools across Ladoje, Oke-Koto, Oko-Oba, and Tabon-Tabon communities, delivering educational materials directly to eager pupils.
The distribution exercise began at:
- Ladoje Nursery & Primary School
- Oko-Oba Nursery & Primary School
Before moving to:
- Ideal Nursery & Primary School
- Methodist Nursery & Primary School
- Okunsanya Nursery & Primary School
Moreso continue at:
- Moses Orimolade Nursery & Primary School
- Sacred Shiloh Nursery & Primary School
And concluded at:
- Oke-Koto United Nursery & Primary School
- Ibido Nursery & Primary School
- Bishop Ajana Memorial Nursery & Primary School
- St. Peter’s Blessed Nursery & Primary School
All benefitted from the kind gestures of Mr Chairman.

In his remarks, the Chairman encouraged the pupils to stay disciplined and focused, reminding them that education remains the most powerful tool for securing their future. “*You are not just learners; you are future doctors, engineers, leaders, and changemakers,” he said, assuring them that his administration remains firmly committed to educational growth.
The school heads expressed profound gratitude, describing the intervention as timely and morale-boosting, especially for parents facing economic constraints.
This latest effort is part of a broader LCDA-wide education support programme aimed at ensuring no child is left behind due to lack of basic materials, a testament to the Chairman’s grassroots-focused leadership.
