
HON. BALOGUN AJIBADE EXPRESSES DEEP GRATITUDE TO WARD C RESIDENTS AND VOTERS ACROSS ORILE-AGEGE LCDA FOLLOWING RE-ELECTION VICTORY

In what was a momentous and successful outing at the just concluded Lagos State Local Government Elections held on Saturday, 12th July 2025, Hon. Balogun Ajibade, the incumbent Councilor representing Ward C in Orile-Agege Local Council Development Area, has been re-elected under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Ajibade, in a heartfelt message, expressed his profound appreciation to the people of Ward C for their unwavering support, loyalty, and trust that earned him a renewed mandate to continue representing them at the grassroots legislative chamber. His victory, he noted, is a testament to the collective efforts, sacrifices, and unity of purpose within the APC family and the entire community.
“This victory belongs to the people,” Hon. Ajibade said. “Your votes, your prayers, and your belief in me have not gone unnoticed. I am truly humbled and grateful.”

He extended special thanks to the overall political leadership in Agege Local Government Area and Orile-Agege Local Council Development Area, beginning with the distinguished Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, whom he described as a beacon of wisdom, strength, and fatherly guidance. “Mr. Speaker’s continuous support and belief in young, committed grassroots politicians like myself has given us the courage to serve with integrity,” he added.
The outgoing Chairman of Orile-Agege LCDA, Hon. Johnson Sunday Babatunde (JSB), his Vice and outgoing Chairman of Agege LGA, High Chief. AbdulGaniu Kola Egunjobi, were also recognized for their years of service, infrastructural achievements, and developmental strides in Orile-Agege. Ajibade thanked them for setting a solid foundation upon which the new administration can build.

Hon. Ajibade also lauded the unwavering support of the Chairman-elect of Orile-Agege LCDA, Hon. Akinola Abiodun Idowu (Dodo), and his Vice Chairman-elect, Hon. Wale Fayemi (WF). He described their leadership style as inspiring and visionary, assuring constituents that the new administration will chart a course toward growth, unity, and inclusive development.
He extended sincere appreciation to Hon. Wale Hammed (Noble), representing Agege Federal Constituency, and Hon. Abdul-Kareem Jubreel (Jubi), member of the Lagos State House of Assembly for Agege Constituency 2. Hon. Ajibade acknowledged their vital financial and moral contributions toward the election’s success and praised their dedication to grassroots empowerment and youth inclusion in governance.

Hon. Ajibade did not forget his fellow Councilors, both outgoing and incoming, as well as Supervisory Councilors, Ward Executives, Zonal Leaders, Women Leaders, and Party Members from the State, Local to the grassroots level. He commended their discipline, loyalty, and commitment to ensuring APC’s sweeping victory at the polls.

He dedicated his victory to GOD Almighty, to the people of Ward C, and to all those who worked tirelessly, seen and unseen to ensure success. He prayed for continued peace, prosperity, and unity across Orile-Agege, Agege LGA, and Lagos State at large.
“Together, we shall build a stronger, more inclusive Ward C, where every voice matters and every dream is valid. I am ready to serve you better than ever before,” he concluded.
